LiposuctionThe Procedure:LIPOSUCTION is a surgical procedure that removes unwanted fat cells via small incisions from specific areas. Liposuction is used to sculpt the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, cheeks and neck. There are a number of techniques used including the Tumescent and UAL techniques. The Tumescent technique uses a large volume of fluid injected into the tissues to reduce bleeding and minimize the amount of anesthesia needed. The UAL technique uses ultrasonic waves to weaken or melt the fat prior to aspiration. Suction Assisted Lipectomy is a highly effective technique for giving you a new body contour with minimal scarring. Your ConsultationDuring this visit you will first meet with our consultant, view several "before" and "after" photographs, and have all of your questions answered. You will be introduced to your surgeon, permitting you the opportunity to learn and discuss the technical aspects of the surgery you are interested in.
